Inspired by the art of Boris Vallejo, Vampire’s Kiss is available in two scales — 1/10 for collectible statue fans and 1/24 for miniature painters. Each model comes in STL format with pre-supported and unsupported versions, all test-printed for resin printers.
In 1979, Boris Vallejo created one of his most well-known paintings: Vampire’s Kiss.
Originally painted for the book Mirage (1982), the artwork depicts a female figure locked in an intimate, supernatural embrace with a vampiric creature, blending fantasy and sensuality in Vallejo’s unmistakable style. Interestingly, the inspiration for this painting came from an unexpected event — after being bitten by a non-venomous snake, Vallejo channeled the experience into creating Vampire’s Kiss, which would go on to become one of his most recognized works.
In 1992, Cellar Cast released a 1/7 scale resin kit, sculpted by Steve West and limited to just 25 units, each accompanied by a certificate signed by Vallejo himself.
The painting’s impact was so significant that it directly influenced cinema. The 1989 European horror film La Chiesa (The Church) features a scene clearly inspired by Vallejo’s masterpiece, faithfully replicating its composition.
